About Me

I live and practice in Lethbridge, Alberta. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Lethbridge then completed my master’s degree in counseling psychology through the University of Alberta. My life experiences have shaped my worldview and fostered in me a compassion for those that are suffering. The practice of psychology allows me to offer tangible help and support to people in all walks of life who may need it.

I have been working in a private practice setting since 2012.

When working with individuals, I pull from a range of therapeutic methods including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

In couples therapy work, I lean heavily on Gottman Method Couples Therapy to disarm conflict while increasing intimacy, respect, friendship, and affection.

Outside of counselling, I enjoy sports and being active. I also love music and try to pick up my guitar whenever I get a chance. I am married and love to spend time with my wife and two kids.
